Shed Band reunion

Hold the presses! The Shed Band will be performing in Stowe for the first time in six years .. at our old stomping ground, Idletyme Brewing Company (formerly the Shed – 1859 Mountain Road, Stowe, Vermont 05672) at 8pm. Let the sabotage begin ~ Stacy Starkweather (bass/vocals), Gabe Jarrett (drums), & Greg Matses (guitar/vocals).

The Shed Band evolved out of a weekly Wednesday night jam which began in 2001 at the Shed Restaurant and Brewery in Stowe, Vermont. From 2001-2009, the group delivered a healthy serving of reworked rock classics and crafty originals that drew from a wide range of influences including funk, blues, prog, & reggae. The band’s collective experience and musicianship guaranteed a unique and entertaining experience Wednesday night after Wednesday night..

I’m excited to be teaching the following courses at the Community College of Vermont (CCV) for the Fall 2017 semester:

Guitar 1:  Winooski – Tuesdays 3:00-5:45pm from 9/5 – 12/12/17;
Guitar 1:  St. Albans – Mondays 6:15-9:00pm from 9/11 – 12/18/17;
Intro to Jazz Music:  Online .. from 9/5 – 12/18/17;

Big Fish

Harwood Union HS, Moretown VT

I’ll be playing guitar in the Harwood Union High School production of Big Fish, with music and lyrics by Andrew Lippa and based on Daniel Wallace’s 1998 novel, Big Fish: A Novel of Mythic Proportions, and the 2003 film Big Fish written by John August and directed by Tim Burton.

Thursday 4/6/17 @ 7:30pm
Friday 4/7/17 @ 7:30pm
Saturday 4/8/17 (two shows) @ 1:30pm & 7:30pm
