I’ve given thousands of private guitar lessons since 1988 in a wide range of styles including folk, blues, jazz, rock, fingerstyle, classical, funk, country & reggae .. instruction is open to all levels, absolute beginner to advanced – on acoustic or electric guitar. Learn songs, develop improvisational and compositional skills, sharpen your technique, apply theoretical concepts to the fretboard and have FUN! I am available for private guitar lessons at my home studio in Essex Vermont. Rates are $40/hour; $20/half hour.
In addition, I offer guitar lessons to students at Harwood Union High & Middle Schools in Moretown VT on Mondays during the school year. Rates are $20 for a 35 minute lesson. Contact Chris Rivers at firstname.lastname@example.org if interested.
I also offer Applied Guitar Lessons at Johnson State College for credit .. open to all students (Music majors & non-majors) .. lessons meet weekly during the spring & fall, 12 times per semester as follows:
1/2 hour lesson = .5 credits (MUS-1120-J15)
1 hour lesson = 1 credit (MUS-3240-J15)
1.5 hour lesson = 1.5 credits (MUS-4030-J15 by Instructor’s permission)
signup sheets for times are on the 2nd floor Dibden bulletin board – You must register for lessons (in person or online @ www.jsc.edu) before choosing your time slot – lessons start on the second week of classes ..
