Spring 2016 Guitar courses at CCV Winooski & Montpelier ..

I will be teaching Guitar 1 and Guitar 2 at the Community College of Vermont (CCV) for the Spring 2016 semester as follows:

Guitar 1:  Winooski – Tuesdays 3:00-5:45pm .. 15 weeks from 1/26 – 5/3/16;
Guitar 1 & 2:  Montpelier – Wednesdays 5:45-8:30pm .. 15 weeks from 1/27 – 5/4/16

Both courses are interactive, fun, and very informative .. 3 credits – open to all ..  info / registration at www.ccv.edu ..

3rd Annual High Summer Celebration

Montgomery VT

I’ll once again be performing at the 3rd Annual High Summer Celebration in Montgomery VT on Saturday 8/1/15 at 8:30pm .. with Rob Morse on bass, Ezra Oklan on drums, Seth Eames on guitar and vocals, Andy Hildebrandt on keys, and Jacob Deva Racusin on percussion/vocals/tenor sax .. this is an invite and adult only event so if you know the crew you’re probably good to go .. $10 goes to the band .. bring your own food and BYOB .. beautiful spot for a mountain jam !

Guitar Curriculum Workshop

Castleton (VT) State College

I will be giving a portfolio presentation/workshop for the Foundations of Music Education class at Castleton (VT) State College on Tuesday 4/14 from 3:30-4:45pm. My presentation will focus on the following:

1)  Guitar Class:  a hands-on overview of fundamental techniques and group exercises for the contemporary guitar class.

2)  Rock Camp Curriculum:  an overview of the process and techniques used in developing effective curriculum for a contemporary music camp.
